My parents spent a lot of time making decisions about their new house while they were here. Here are a few pics…I labeled as best I could to give you an idea of what you are looking at. Since these photos were taken, windows and doors have been installed and I believe the brick exterior is in progress. Note: While Nanny and Papa were here, they also made Libby’s dream come true and took her to Denny’s for waffles! Libby ate most of the waffles and seemed to enjoy her experience!

This is the front of the house. The 3-car garage is to the right, front porch and front door are behind the work trucks/porta-potty. One the left (with big windows is the office) – better photo below.

You can see more of the office and then further to the left you can see my Mom’s closet. No joke. The entire space surrounding the octagonal window is Susan’s closet. I’m pretty sure one of our children will also call it a bedroom.

I’m not sure, but I think this photo was taken from my parents bedroom with the great room on the other side (it’s a double sided fireplace). Note: the wrong fireplace was installed – a larger fireplace is on order and will be installed. I like all the arch ways my parents added in the house – nice touch.

This is the back of the house. Papa is standing under the covered porch, adjacent to that will be a patio. Half their lot is situated on a large pond and the other half on creek/woods. There’s also a bike path along one side of their property that hooks up to the Monon.
