Libby and I are on our own this weekend and I must say I am looking forward to the exciting things we have planned like cleaning the house, napping, picking up 2 cupcakes at Sweet Lucinda’s and going to bed early! I am really busy at work and we have quite the travel schedule this spring, so this will be our last weekend at home for quite some time.
A good time was had by all in Las Vegas. . .Below are some highlights:
- Pink Taco and gambling at the Hard Rock on Friday night…who knew you could bet at War?
- Venetian Pool and hamburgers on Saturday…Venetian was ok – it took 15 minutes to get to our room, 2 different elevators…kind of a pain. Pool was terribly crowded due to 80 degree weather, but we made ourselves various spots by taking chairs out of the kiddy pool and laying on the side of the pool.
- Japonaise (at Mirage) never disappoints. Had a Startini at the request of the Mother of the Bride and they were outstanding. After dinner we headed to Pure (at Caesars) and had a great time busting up the dance floor and watching the Pussy Cat Dolls perform.
- Headed to the Wynn (AMAZING) for an awesome breakfast at the Terrace; I had lobster eggs benedict – out of this world. After brunch we went to the spa at Planet Hollywood and had a great massage and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub.
It was a great weekend!
